CCP Has announced that the industrial summer expansion Cirus will be hitting the servers on the 22nd July 2014. The emphasis of the update is a complete overhaul of the industrial system and will certainly provide a much needed overhaul of the industry system which is the critical backbone of the EVE Universe. There have been some major changes in the removal of job slots, adding of teams and dynamic pricing systems. Below is a summery plus a dev video from CCP.
Overall here are the main changes in Cirus
–Overhauled UI for Blueprints, Instant Job Calculations, Single click reassigning jobs
-Slots removed from Industry, Price is variable now (see dynamic pricing)
-Teams in industry can change the variables in Job Cycles
-Reprocessing structures is also being overhauled.
–Dynamic Pricing- This means the market is even more alive with up to the second price changes on jobs. The devs warn to be careful of the type of jobs your doing on a station as these can add up!
Finally it should be noted that EVE Online will be changing it’s yearly expansion model after this year’s Cirus update. This means the team will have more time to work on much bigger/adventurous projects such as Legion.
